Denver Rubber Duck Drop
Take a quack at winning fantastic prizes and help support Denver Public Schools!
The Denver Rubber Duck Drop takes place annually on the first Sunday in May at George Wallace Park in Denver.
On that day, 3,000 sponsored rubber ducks are dropped into Goldsmith Gulch and raced for fabulous prizes.
All Denver Rubber Duck Drop proceeds benefit five southeast Denver Public Elementary Schools:
Bradley International, Samuels, Holm, Slavens and Southmoor.
In addition to the excitement of watching the race, the Duck Drop includes a Duck Fest.
The Duck Fest features fun, interactive environmental exhibits to educate and entertain race spectators,
along with live music, and great food.
